RayNow is intended for users age 18 or older in the United States. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and applicable Marketplace Safety Rules.
RayNow provides technology that connects customers with independent professionals. Unless expressly stated otherwise, professionals are not RayNow employees. Professionals are responsible for their services, pricing, licensing, insurance, permits, taxes and compliance with laws applicable to their trade.
Users must provide accurate account and service information, use the platform lawfully, respect other users, and avoid fraud, harassment, unsafe activity or misleading offers. RayNow is not an emergency-response service. For emergencies, contact 911 or the appropriate local authority.
RayNow may require identity verification before a professional can send offers or accept work. Verification may be provided by Veriff. A verification result does not guarantee workmanship, licensing, insurance or suitability for every service.
Service requests, offers, messages, arrival events, evidence, reviews, disputes and payment records may be maintained to operate the marketplace, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and comply with law. Jobs originating on RayNow should remain on-platform when RayNow payments are enabled.
You grant RayNow permission to host and process content you submit for operating, securing and supporting the service. You must have the right to upload any photo, document or message you provide and must not upload unlawful or unnecessary sensitive information.
Payment, payout and tax features apply only when activated in production. Professionals remain responsible for their own tax obligations except where withholding or information reporting is legally required.
RayNow may restrict or suspend accounts for fraud, safety risks, legal violations, abusive conduct or material violations of these Terms. Users may request account deletion from Profile → Privacy & data.
RayNow does not guarantee that a professional will be available, that a customer will hire a professional, or that every service will be error-free. Consumer rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
These Terms are designed for U.S. operations and are subject to applicable federal, state and local law. RayNow may update these Terms prospectively and will request renewed acceptance when a material change requires it.
Account data: name, email or phone, role, city, ZIP code and account-security information.
Service and transaction data: requests, offers, job status, ratings, disputes, messages and service evidence.
Location data: location or service address when you choose to provide it. Precise device location is requested only after you use a location feature.
Professional data: availability, service radius, work schedule, professional profile, and where applicable licenses or insurance information.
Identity-verification data: Veriff may collect government ID and selfie information directly. RayNow receives verification identifiers, status and related decision information.
Technical data: session, security and basic device/browser information necessary to operate and protect the service.
RayNow uses personal data to create and secure accounts, match customers and professionals, operate jobs and communications, support KYC, prevent fraud, enforce rules, resolve disputes, improve service reliability and comply with legal obligations.
Netlify: hosting, serverless functions and managed database infrastructure used to operate RayNow.
Cloudflare R2: private object storage for user-uploaded files such as profile photos, service evidence, CVs and approved attachments.
Veriff: identity-verification services for professionals. Government ID/selfie data is collected in Veriff's secure verification flow.
OpenStreetMap / Nominatim: reverse-geocoding when a user chooses the location feature; coordinates may be sent to obtain a human-readable location.
Resend: transactional email delivery for security messages such as password-recovery codes. The destination email address and message-delivery metadata may be processed for this purpose.
RayNow may add payment, tax, storage, analytics or communication providers as the product evolves. This policy will be updated before materially different sharing is introduced.
RayNow does not currently sell personal data and does not currently use personal data for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.
RayNow retains data only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, security, dispute handling and applicable legal obligations. Some financial, tax, fraud-prevention or legal records may need to be retained for a legally required period even after account deletion.
Depending on your state and whether a particular privacy law applies to RayNow, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of personal data, and to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising or profiling. RayNow will not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
You can request deletion directly in Profile → Privacy & data → Delete account. RayNow will delete your account and directly linked active-system data. Data that must be retained by law, or data retained independently by a third-party provider under its own legal obligations, may not be immediately erasable.
RayNow is not directed to children under 18 and accounts are not intended for minors.
Privacy and account requests can be initiated inside RayNow. Before public launch, RayNow will publish the legal entity name and a dedicated privacy-support email/contact address.
You cannot send service offers until Veriff returns an approved verification decision.
Production filing should use the payment processor/tax filing provider to determine whether Form 1099-K, Form 1099-NEC, or another information return is required. State reporting thresholds may differ.
